does anyone know that old anime TV series about a robot/mech that is a gaurdian of some kid? pretty vague description I know but i cant really remember much more. I really want to get this series. I remember in the last few episodes the gaurdian robot/mech thing died saving the kid. I thought it was Robotech but i had a look at an episode (the first one - boobytrap) and i dont think it is anymore. also, the gaurdian robot/mech thing could talk. and the kid had his own mech suit thing which he could strap into and control. i used to watch it on Cheeze TV on channel 10 about 10-12 years ago. i had a look on the web but didnt help. I know this probably isnt the best place to ask but i thought id try anyway. anyones help would be hugely appreciated.

i think they played Macross at one stage, it could be that. but hey if your looking for robot anime series, with genetically modified super humans as well, ABC2 is screening ergo proxy @ 9pm on Tuesdays. well worth the watch if your into dark Anime Dystopias.

Hehehe, I got kicked out of class one time. For some reason that I still don't know I yelled out Teknoman! in the middle of class. BAM! Instant kick.

i was so happy when i found the episodes of teknoman. (or tekkaman blade as its known in japan) so many childhood memories of samurai pizza cats, then sailor moon followed by teknoman in the mornings before school. NGE sucks too, i must be one of the only people who didnt like it. the fights are good and the 1 episode i do like is with the computer virus angel but other than that, boring as crap.

oh f***it! i had no idea abc2 were playing this. i just caught the last 30 seconds of an episode.

i acquired the first 4 episodes of this from somewhere a while ago and have been looking for more ever since.

also it took me 5 minutes to find abc2 because i cbf learning how to use the foxtel remote
