Anyone know if they still exist? Called them today and got the message the number doesn't work/disconnected. Tried just before to make sure I wasn't dreaming and got the same message.

So that brings me to my next question, anyone know a place in Brisbane that sells PS1/PS2 -> USB connections? I've found an Aussie site online which I'll use if there's nowhere local.

Nah they have a shop front in Centenary Place in the Valley, opposite the Virgin Blue building. Also has a kickass Sushi place there too that do the best Chicken Koragi.

Yer Burn is next to or near the Chinese Herbalist thingy.

I got my XBox chipped at Blade about 18 months ago.
Yeah one of the guys used to rock around in his Beemer and was a bit of a wanker. He used to come into the video store I worked at and wanted to fight one of the guys who worked there at one stage. I won't put his name up but yeah, his d******* factor was in the red.
The other guy had a kind of male version of Tomb Raider thing going on for a while. Super friendly and helpful in a nerdy kind of way. Kind of out there but reasonably harmless as far as I could see.
So they closed down huh? I always wondered how they stayed open as long as they did...

Blade earnt a bad rep for charging top dollar for budget chips and it ran their name through the mud.

That said, there isn't much of a market for modding anymore is there? doesn't seem to be as prevalent with the 360
