Touristy things to do... other than smoke reefer all day and night :)

I know a few of you boys are in Europe so any recommendations? I will be there for 3 days and would like to do the tours and s*** so let me know some ideas :) Ta.

hienkin factory, van gogh museum, science museum, red light district, boat trip around the cannels.

you can get a tourist pass that covers all the main attractions and public transport. costs about €75 off memory. worth it if you do most on the list.

be careful, can be dodgy joint. esp english geezers on stag nights.

Just of the top of my head...

Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Rembrandt's house, Anne Frank's house, Heineken Brewery, Hire a bike and go for a ride...and of course, the red light district.

That should keep you busy for the 3 days ;)

i'm living in Utrecht and the canals here are awesome.. been on a tour of the canals and a walk around the city.. the city has been inhabited for over 2000 years so its got a bit of history to share.

only thing i could think off in amsterdam is do a canal tour in a canal boat.. Utrechts canals are the only ones in the world with wharfs but amsterdam has over 100km of canals in the city.. its a good way to see the place from a different perspective and they usually have a running commentry of interesting things to see

ps is it just me or are the majority of dutch chicks hawt?

also watch the beers.. its not fun having afternoon/night beers then finding out later they are 12.5% alc/vol

also watch out in amsterdam.. there was somehting in the paper cpl of days ago about a chinese guy who killed and stir fried up some dutch guy.. took 20l of cooking oil to get the job done..

While you're there, dont watch hostel 2. Not because it'll freak you out being a tourist in europe and all, but because the movie was pure garbage. If anything it'll make you see the brighter side of life in a comical way.

If you have a few days see other cities in the netherlands. You are at most a 15 buck train ride from them and it will only take an hour to go to another major city.

Also you can get down to Belgium pretty quickly too.

I spent 3 days in Amsterdam last year and just did the red light district and went to the beach (I thnk it was zandvoort). It was f***ing packed with topless chicks. It's worth going just so you appreciate how awesome the beaches in Australia are; it has s*** sand, no surf and was completely and utterly packed. photo. The buildings along the beach are all bars or restaurants and stuff; there's an aussie pub there which sells tooheys and carlton cold and VB and stuff. Sat there for a couple hours having some beers (there was a topless girl in a g-string at the bar almost the whole time; it was a little surreal).

It was a pretty nice place; if you're like me you get annoyed by all the asshat tourists that are just there because they can OMG smoke drugs, but it is a really nice city with all the canals and stuff

imo go to the heiniken museum and anne franks house. f***en awsome. i also went through the canals on the little paddle boats. also try and go to the red light district, some of the chicks are nice to look at but apparently a lot of them are shemales :( and watch out for cabbies, they try to sell you crack while driving your around.

another reason to go to the heinken mueseum is that you also get 3 free beers. but since we went with a few girls, they didnt want theres so we ended up having 8 beers each. the extra cold ones are heavenly. i also got a free metal bottle opener thats fits nicely into my wallet.
