Who's been along to see it yet?

Caught the first session this morning - Thought it was a pretty good end to the trilogy. Plenty of action, moved at a pretty good pace & didn't feel like it was dragging at any point. Ending is a little cheesy, but is satisfying enough and leaves things happily setup for yet another sequel if th.. I mean when disney decides it wants more money. Overall thought it was better than the 2nd film & almost as good as the first.

Oh and Kiera Knightley was hot as usual :D

So, which was better - Pirates or Spidey 3? I haven't seen Spidey 3 yet so...

I went and saw it today and thought it was very average. There was some nice action at the end but everything leading up to it was quite slow.

I enjoyed Pirates 3 significantly more than spidey 3. Mostly due to the pacing - spiderman felt really awkward + the constant jumping from one plot point to another got annoying & found myself getting bored with it..

Enjoyed it in goldclass today, a bit long but fun. Definatly set up for a forth.

Hmm, from what I've read (having not seen it yet), the the problems you had with Spidey 3 equally apply to Pirates..

Then again, I liked Spidey 3, so perhaps I'll like Pirates 3..

I might go against the grain, and say that I thought it was bloody s***-house. Spiderman 3 was better for one simple reason - it was a little shorter.

saw it last night in gold class, i honestly think they could of cut alot of s*** out of the 2nd and the 3rd and released 1 sequl, bu what ever.

it was alright i guess.

The funnies were thin and far between and it was way, way, way to length. f***ing s***house tell you the truth. Oh! and so many f***ing cheesy moments. Seriously Pirates 2 and 3 went downhill at a rate of knots.

I loved the bit where they had to turn the boat upside down (capsize) to go back to the "living" world..... And what was the point of the calypso chick?? She didn't help anyone, all she did was make it rain...

Yeah, that Calypso chick did nothing. I was expecting some massive god type chick to come outta the water and lay the smackdown on the baddies but it didn't happen. Such an anti-climax.

The more I think about the movie the more I thought it was quite s***ty. And the Matrix comments were spot on. The first one rocked and the sequels were ass.

I wouldn't go that far.

First one was good, second ones were a bit less good.

2nd one had heaps of good laughs, I guess they just wanted to make the third more serious n s***.
