Any you guys / girls software developers? Trying to find some good project managment software, based around developers. its all ms db / visual studio based work. not sure if team suite edition does this or not.

needs to manage projects.
track bugs / issues / feature requests.
document releases.

ive used dot projected and it sucked.

we sort of talked about this a bit in this thread the other day; we're looking for a similar thing. We've been using RT (which I hate) and have tried Fogbugz (which I <3 but it's not open source).

Trac also gets some props but I haven't used it.

My supervisor wrote a web based one in Ruby, which is kind of a http://www.basecamphq.com/ ripoff. Does anyone use Basecamp?

I used basecamp at my previous job.

Its a great interface excellent for daily tasks and communication but falls down when it comes down to things like time tracking and managing many many projects on the go.

My current employment uses groupware and its a piece of s***.

We wrote our own, but got sick of writing things for it.
