Ive been trying to copy/delete music from my cousins ipod but when I connect to my comp it's stating that I need to format it ... apparently the person that he bought it off formatted and copied the music using a mac ... is there a way to extract the songs onto windows without having to reformat it?

The problem is the filesystem. Windows may not be able to read it.
