they got some uber cheap internet cafes, like $1aussie or less for an hour at reasonable speeds. i live with a family here that has some variation of dsl (havenīt really bothered to learn the spanish related to computering) but can download at like 100KB/s so whatever.

has been pretty much identical to in brisbane but i think itīs about to turn to wet and miserable over the next few weeks

i was at the beach when there was some festival thing on so it may have been more crowded than usual but there were like 4 spots of equal size equally packed so iīll assume itīs always that busy

and just for you marty iīll go out and take photos of hoes and tell them to show me their rack in my horribly broken spanish

yea we climbed it pretty hardcore. was something like 3000m high and took us about 5 hours in part because we were stingy and didnīt want to fork out $12 for a chairlift halfway up. itīs called volcano villarica in pucon (like 11 hours south in a bus from santiago)

hereīs the hole at the top (stunk pretty hardcore):

view was pretty awesome from the top too (need a new camera though)

Heh that looks wikkid. It's amazing how plain jane the local Brisbane scenery is when you see stuff like that. I wish we had a giant f***off volcano next to us or something.

same

But seriously, come down south and climb Mount Warning. It has been extinct since forever, but it is the closest you will get to climbing a volcano in oz :)

Brisbane would have to be the most boring place in the world to go for a holiday as a tourist. You could get away with it as a backpacker cause of the student nightlife.

Also lol at that zoo, this zoo in bangkok I went to man it was a third world zoo, birds without feathers crammed together and s***.

That looks wicked! Is Chile cheap to do?

I'm in Vienna at the moment - got here last night. It's very cool. Really clean, great weather at the moment, and fairly cheap. Plus all the main things to do seem to be grouped together which makes things nice and easy. Even discovered an Aussie pub which was showing the cricket - tops!

i dunno, itīs reasonably cheap i guess. it was expensive getting here, but buses and stuff are pretty cheap and you can stay at some pretty dodge places if you donīt bring valuable stuff. oh and cheap cheap cheap booze (litre of beer for about $1.30, $5-10 for a bottle of spirits)

Nah itīs reasonably safe, from what Iīve experienced. A few of the other foreigners here have got their wallets stolen (on the ridiculously crowded subway which approaching japanese levels of crazy) or had their phones pinched while speaking obvious english, but for the most part itīs just variations of "got a dollar bro" from random sks on the street. I actually live downtown though so it might be different in the suburbs which I havenīt really explored and at places like soccer games itīs a bit dangerous, but I think as long as you arenīt like wearing superflash clothes and yelling american english about how much cash you have on you itīs ok.

Also I guess Iīm a c***:

went to some game between santiagoīs biggest team (colo colo) and an argentinian team river plate. The yellow kinda tunnel extends 40m and the referees get a full police escort off the ground with like riotshield spartan covering.
