i loved the brutality and grossness of it :D they should make way more gross/violent movies imo. They cut it down in some movies too much, but hostel was good

Didn't mind the first one too much, but i was expecting over the top violence and gore seen unlike anything else before and i was a lil disappointed. Though that one scene where the asian chick gets her eyes drilled and bits of her face starts to sagg was pretty f***ed up.

even though i've been living out of a big phat suitcase the last week or so jumping from hostel to hostel in the UK.. i still feel somewhat de-sensitised to the whole idea.. maybe not when i start going through eastern europe though shortly, then it will become all to possible i believe! Maybe i should start sleeping with a bowie knife held to my chest.... |

OMG, over sequels. How about people make movies because it is a good movie and not because it can go on for years and years and years

i was one of the few who enjoyed no. 1. One of the few in your house? At your work? On this forum? In this country? What evidence do you have to back up this claim? I'm sure a there were more than just a few, yourself included who liked this movie. I did, does that blow out your figures? |

I didn't really enjoy it, well it was ok. I preferred saw2 or whatever came out around the same time. Saying that horror movies are definitely at the bottom of my list.

One of the few in your house? At your work? On this forum? In this country? Single most over-the-top reaction to a statement the world has ever seen. Personally, I found the idea of the movie to be excellent and my pessimistic view of the human race actually leads me to believe that this sort of activity might actually go on. However, I feel that the movie well overused the gore. It's like going debt collecting, asking once for the money and without waiting for an answer you immediately shoot them in the face. It's the threat of violence that puts people on edge, not the use of it. Peoples minds are quite capable of f***ing themselves up, movies like Hostel should make more use of that fact. |

i was one of the few who enjoyed no. 1. Single most retarded claim ever made on this forum. I've got nothing against Jabroney, never met him in my life, but that comment just vexed me for some reason. |

I've got nothing against Jabroney, never met him in my life, but that comment just vexed me for some reason.after nobody agrees with you and wonders wtf you are going on about, you just say the same thing again. You are insane. insane like a person that enjoys torturing people then killing them. |

Hostel was s***house I reckon. One of the most boring movies I've seen but in saying that I'll watch the second one to see if it's any better.
Just watched that Touristas movie. If you wanna see a s*** movie than watch this. The only good part about it was the chicky babes wore bikinis thru the whole thing. |

Hostel was a good concept. Pretty funny in parts. I thought the gore was over the top... but obviously some people like that. Don't know if I'll see the second one - I like scary movies but not a fan of graphic gore (unless it's funny gore like in the original Dawn of the Dead film).

Hostel was s***house I reckon. One of the most boring movies I've seen but in saying that I'll watch the second one to see if it's any better. Agreed, alright concept, but mixed in too much lame and just spoilt it. Lame is a major problem plaguing way too many horror movies. |

hahaha that is the funniest reaction to one of my posts i've ever seen. Out of all my mates who went and saw it, I was the only one who liked it... That is kind of implied, of course i'm not the only one in the world who enjoyed it. But im sorry, next time i will express exactly who, what, when, where and why.
anyway... |
