Anyone noticed in the CBD area today its quite smokey? any ideas as to what is on fire and where?

Backburning a few hundred hectares on Stradbroke Island.

^Maybe not that much, but thats what theyre doing and there certainly is a lot of smoke around.

If Google weren't so LAZY We'd be able to fire up Google Earth and watch it in REAL TIME

Now that would be really cool. lousy NSA keep all the cool toys to themselves :(

City Council is using smoke to test the sewers for leaks. True story as I got a flier in the mail the other day

where were they doing this wasn't on the south side.

I drove over the gateway bridge today at around 4:00 and looking over the city i saw sprog everywhere, er.. smoke.
