It was a bit random at times, you could lose track of the story, with the tales weaving in and out of the spotlight.

The second one was pretty s*** house, it was nothing on the black pearl.

it wasn't as good as the black pearl, but i wouldn't say it was s*** house

there have been far worse sequals

Yeah true, things irritated me about it. I think everyone crapped on about those things on qgl when the movie was released.

Still really excited about the third.

Hmm, trailer looks heaps better than the 2nd movie that's for sure. Dead Mans Chest was damn boring except for when Geoffrey Rush showed up at the end.

There always seems to be a problem with the second movie of alot of trillogys like blade number 2 was s*** hause. 1 and 3 were good.

and at least this movie is coming soon not here's the trailer now wait 9 months for it.

just like how lost season 1 was good, season 2 was s***house, and this season is awesomeness!!!

I thought Blade 2 sucked at the time, but looking back it was way better than the third one, simply because it was darker. Those two sequels got progressively worse as they took it less seriously.

I remember thinking the problem with Dead Man's Chest when I saw it was it dragged on for about forty minutes longer than it should have. But the first half of the movie was focused and entertaining.

The only good thing in that entire movie was Jessica Biels ass and Ryan Reynolds line 'You Cock-Juggling Thunder-c***'.

Blade 2 rawked where you goin. It's Blade 3 that was the disappointment.

You can cut out the entire Cannibal Island section of Dead Man's Chest, and walk away a winner. That's what killed the movie IMHO.

But then...watch the DMC DVD making of - Gore Verbinski looks like he had just about enough of the two writers, who come off looking very poor..


Oh and after the awesome FX of Davey Jones (a CGI actor that looks exactly like Bill Nighy), the shots of the Kraken right at the end look very ugly. They didn't even fix that up for the Blu-Ray/DVD releases.. :(

Yeah Dead mans chest was unnecessarily long. The sword fight at the end with the 3 dudes just went on and on for example. And I reckon they never fully explained the heart in the chest well enough etc. It's still a good watch just for the visuals though - nice scenery etc.

the writers had s*** all time to write the scripts. thats why they tagged along because they were still writing the scripts as they were filming.
