Okay, anyone have one of these and know how to stop the goddamn light from flashing when you're charging it?!

I usually have to hide it under a pillow or something

motorolla's are very customizable if u have a pc connector. u can totally change all the software and settings on them, tho sometimes it can get a little tricky.

unless there's like an option to turn it off already....warning lights setting maybe?

wouldn't be such a problem if you didn't have to charge the V3X every 4 hours

Keep a blob of blutak near where you charge it... problem solved.

I do the same with my PC activity/power LED when I leave it on overnight while I am sleeping.

Its actually a strip about 3 cm long..

Also i dont have any trouble at all with the battery life?? one charge will last 2 days, or 3 if i dont use it much... Phones 6+ months old also.

edit: skitza it lights up my whole room at night when i (and most people) generally charge. As its a strip of light, just not a pin point.

Never getting a motorola again, sticking with samsung or nokia.

Agreed, I got a v3 coz the dude at the shop said yeah yeah these things are known for their loud ring (so I can hear it at work), the stupid POS is more quiet than my ericsson it's harder to use (more steps to do the same s*** on the sony) and most of all, it's f***ING SLOW. In short, motorola can suck my fat one.

On the up side, I found a program that lets you mess with the system files, edit them, delete them, etc. I also love the nice animated optus startup screen..... I'm with telstra? I didn't buy it from an optus shop either wtf?

Can I just say, the V3X is probably the worst phone I've ever used.

just so crappy... It makes me sad that I have one for another 15 months or so... argh!

I got an $80 prepaid Nokia with a black and white display... but it's a recent model (so probably decent battery).

Hence I charge it every 2 - 3 weeks if I'm using it heaps, got 6 weeks from one charge when I barely used it.

sif you'd buy motorolla, biggest pos of a phone.. The GUI is so gay and not user friendly at all.. Sony ericsson is where it's at.. Just picked up a W950i last Monday, awesome phone with touch screen. Sexiest GUI I've seen on a phone.

apples latest ipod/phone

Looks good, but at the moment is being released in June in America, 4GB and 8GB locked to Cingular, and on a 24 month contract for $449. So its f***ing expensive.

For that price, you get a device that lacks:

a) any form of 3G capability. It is Quad Band.
b) Can't open Word files, can suposedly open PDF's
c) Runs MacOSX but can't run regular mac programs.
d) Can't even record video! through its 2MP camera.

i was joking. the nokia communicator looks better for a web browser phone, and surely they can do better than a 2gb camera, that is 2006 mang

iphone, yeah saw that in a music clip and almost jizzed my pants. I checked ipod website but didn't see any mention of it. I couldn't wait for it as my contract ran out last month and may aswell get a new phone for the same monthly bill. I'm happy with my sony ericsson though, came standard with a 4GB chip to store all my mp3's on.

As far as I remember I read somewhere Oz aint gonna see the iphone till 2008 sometime. Even then you are still going to have to sell both your testicles to afford one.
