Sandals like that imply you go outside, so I would say wearing those puts you into the cool kids club @ a games studio.

I'm going to on Monday, I had some leads down south that I was following up, but nothing has come of them, so I'm giving them till the end of the week then I'm sending out some more applications to places locally. Its not that I have anything against Pandemic, they'd be my pick of places to work in Brisbane, its more that I wanted to get out of Brisbane if I could :P

Full Spectrum Warrior and those Starwars Battlefront games were pretty cool. And I never played it, but Destroy All Humans looked pretty fun.

The Pandemic building is actually right next to where my brother works (Endeavour Refrigeration). True story!

What don't we do is probably a shorter list :)

Obviously there's desktop support, we try and keep systems as cutting edge as possible, most are Intel6600's with 4gb RAM, so there's fairly minimal PC fixing, but there's still a fair bit of software support as we run some pretty heavy apps.

We run a mixture of Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD servers, Our network is a conventional win2003 domain with exchange03.

Linux runs our intranet, project intranets, server monitoring ( custom app ), proxy, ftp, rsync ( auto syncing with LA ), Perforce ( revision mangement, like VSS or CVS ), and of course Asterisk ( OpenSource VoIP PBX ). Oh and a Build machine and a couple of other misc services.

FreeBSD runs our internet facing servers like SSH ( for RDP tunneling ) and FTP.

We've got a Cisco core ( 3825, and a 5510 ) which connects to our Fibre Internet connection which provides the majority of our bandwidth ( port 80 traffic is routed through our internode adsl2+ ) and also VPN's to our LA office and to Bioware.

There's lots more to talk about, but that's a basic overview.
