ZOMG... Ghostbusters. Here's hoping it has 4 way co-op support. They should have stuck to the original car though imo.

also looks cool, but they need to host the vids elsewhere, flash embeded video's aren't exactly good quality :/

also talk about digging up the past... 23 years after the first movie :p

I don't know.. If it was made again today, I'm sure they would've picked the 300c wagon as their vehicle of choice :)

Looks pretty nifty however!

Possibly, but then again the original movie was made in 1984 and they chose a car from 1959 then.

Cripes, I had a Ghostbusters game on my C64 or could have been my Atari ST back in 1984 !

Further proof that like the movie industry, the gaming industry is running out of fresh ideas.

The end is nigh!

looks extremely repetitive to me. I can see it getting boring after 3minutes.

doesn't look as good as the original. The guns seem to kill the ghost whereas the fun in the original was moving the ghosts inline with the traps and not crossing the streams.

Also getting paid and upgrading the car.

If it's just a run around and hold your lightning gun on a baddie for 5 seconds it's gonna be pretty s***.

oh yeah.. and the feeling of being overwhelmed as your city got out of control, and you couldn't cap ghosts fast enough.. how are the going to match that with some 'shoot all the ghosts on this level' type game?

Thats a possibility, i hope that isn't the case and i'd like to believe that the game is in an early enough stage of development in that what was displayed isn't necessarily indicative of what the final game will be like. It's a bit of a tricky one because on one hand it would get incredible annoying with a level filled with ghosts and having stick the trap out for each and every one but on the other hand it's not really staying true to the movie being able to just run around and eliminate ghosts just by zapping them.

They might make it that you only have to trap end level ghosts and everything else just evaporates, kinda stupid but it really depends on what sort of game they're tying to achieve. From memory previous ghostbuster games (and I only played the 2 on the NES, but it was more like i described above in that only the end level ghosts needed to be traped). Anyway, time will tell, I'd would imagine more details will surface around the time of E3.

I had the original ghost busters on the commodore 64. I always got owned by the stay puft man. How the hell were you meant to get him?

The reason they chose the hearse in the first movie was because it was cheap, remember they had no money?
