For those that care
http://www.nme.com/news/smashing-pumpkins/25637 Since Zwan and Billy Corgan's solo stuff were both horrible, I'm going to go ahead and say that I don't really have much hope for a great reunion here. oh and to the folks looking forward to the next tour: Smashing Pumpkins are probably the worst band i have ever seen live. :D |

they've tried to reform a couple of times from memory.
Billy Corgan is a f***wit in my books. Their old stuff was OK, but the stuff they released just before they broke up sucked donkey balls... and so did Corgan's solo shyte... obviously a cash grab, he's run out of money for hookers and cocain |

Although they were one of my favourite bands of the 90s, I have been taking this news with some trepidation. The last album or two was off the mark, and although I thought the Zwan album was not too bad, it got heavily panned. And the solo stuff - yeech! It will be interesting to see what their 'new sound' is like, and who actually makes it into the band (so far only Jimmy has said he's in from what I know). No James Iha - no pumpkins in my book.
But we'll see. It could turn out to be a defining album and blow our collective cock off. |

I think after Mellon Collie and the Infinate Sadness I just lost all interest in them. I probably would have liked them a lot more if they didn't have Billy Corgan, I hate that f***ing nasal tone that he does.

Siamese Dream was the only album I could listen to fully, there was some good tracks on Mellon Collie but like most other double albums the rest is filled with crap.
