TV Premiere on net first

NETWORK Ten drama Supernatural will become the first major network program to be available for free internet download before airing on television.

The series two premiere of the US sci-fi hit will be available online five days before its first airing on January 15 at 8.30pm (AEDT).

Quite a bold move from Ten IMO - it'll be interesting to see the format, size, etc of the download.

shame its such a crap show :(

Already up to season 2, quite a good show, some what similar to the X files.

NBC been doin this for ages - its good to have this kind of thing in australia finally we are starting to catch up with the rest of the world

I'm curious to see if it will also have ads, does NBC releases contain ads? Otherwise.. how else can the network generate revenue to cover the cost.

I liked Supernatural, but I missed most of the second half the first season cos it was always on nights when I had late classes at uni :(

I liked the individual story episodes, wasn't to keen on the series story line though.

I watched 2 episodes and that was enough, yeah it's true that it's like the x-files, only s***

Supernatural has nothing on the X-Files.

i read that the episodes of heroes u can download off nbc only has 1 ad half way through it.

have you fellaz seen the new Night stalker series ( remake of the old yes i know) pretty good IMHO..

not sure i know they have completed season 1 its 10 episodes but i havent found anything saying its been canned.. maybe it has a shame if thats true?

Err the fact they only made 10 episodes of which only 6 were aired over a year ago doesnt give you a small clue?

I watched a couple of eps of supernatural but it just wasn't my thing. Nonetheless it was a decent show.

edit: those heroes videos won't play there's no error no message no nothing. what gives I click on them and nada?

im pretty sure it only accepts connections from american ip ranges. It's just an example of already existing infrastructure for this type of thing, look at all the shows they have on the website you can watch in HD!

wow... the people have spoken and stuff.


now if only we could all vote with our feet on things that really mattered :/
