It's alright but it got boring real quick. Might be worth getting if you're gonna be playing heaps of multiplayer if not I wouldn't bother.

this game's a real gem when you have a few mates around. the party mode absolutely rox for turn-based challenges.

as such, i would not recommend it if you are a nigel no-friends.

Looks a lot like Burnout, which I like.

Great game, haven't played a great deal of single player mode but at a LAN this game rocks, especially destruction derby mode.

awesome we have been looking for a good lan game. id take it that all lan players would have to download the game and pay for it off steam?

Its one of the best lan games around. we all use a non-steam version though so dont know how you'd go if you bought it off steam.

I for one loved the s*** out of Flatout 2, but the lack of manual vehicle is kinda lame (they had auto/manual in F1). It's pretty fun for lan games, demo derby is a riot. But eventualy you will get bored of it and it will become a game played at Lans or every now and then when bored fora few tracks.
does it work over hamachi?
yes, but I'd be worried about latency for collision detection.
