Yeah, fair enough, it prolly does have some sort of granny flat under the house which is already taken and that is what they are referring to, but l-o-l at the wording.

Also, as if rent a place with the (likely) owner/family coming and going during the week.

Maybe the owners work in town two days a week and live in Toowoomba or something so it is easier for them to stay in the house while they are here then go back and forth.

I have heard of it before

My brother rents out his 3 bedroom house, with 1 room padlocked for 95% of the year.

He works in the mines and it's an agreement that whenever he is back, he is staying in the house (they got a max number of weeks but it's usually like 6 or so).

the dude probably owns 3 houses and rents all three you but has to alternate days he lives there so he can rent all houses out at full market value
