I got sick of people asking how to resume downloads on AusGamers so I whipped this up; just interested in getting feedback on it in case people think it's not clear enough. Please let me know if you have any comments!

Less words and paragraphs, more bullet-points!

If people somehow can't manage to get wackget working, chances are they're probably too lazy to read all that text in the instructions page :)

I believe the point of the modified wackget client was for large file support.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe the point of this was to resume downloads broken through timeouts, internet dropouts and user error, particularly of large files. Noobs would download stuff, it'd either drop or accidentally get cancelled at like 99% the file would still say it was 500meg but it'd be missing those last few kb and they'd email trog going WAHHHH YOUR FILE BROKE FIX PLZ.

1) Download and install WackGet - click here to get it.

2) Activate it by clicking on the system tray:

you don't have to start it from the start menu at all at any stage none whatsoever even after a reboot? If not then ignore this, if it doesn't automatically set itself to autoload on windows start and doesn't auto load after installation might want to add in there 1b. start it from the start menu if the icon isn't in the systray.
Remember, these are ultimate newbs you're dealing with. The kind of person who is likely to think bonzai buddy is cute and a fun little companion to have just like clippit.
