also to get back onto the cricket, seems to me that there was a good amount of bad shots that got the batters out. In saying that, it's a bad state of affairs that a spin bowler takes 5 wickets on the first day of a test in Perth, should be f***ing flying through with bounce and pace in Perth, not turning and slow :/

At least we got 2 quick, relatively cheap wickets before stumps, should make for an interesting days play tomorrow.

I agree Heardy, I thought Langer was a bit too tentative towards Panesar & Symonds and Warnes dismissals to him were fairly soft...but still he managed to pick up 5 of our wickets, which is no easy feat.

Was a bit dissapointed with Clarke, I thought Hussey and him were really gonna steady the ship, and the shot he got out on to Harmison was just terrible.

harmy was bowling with some fire yesterday :O i think flintoff was pretty happy he and hoggard could just sit back and cruise through that overs. wanted to see some more from sajid but hey, monty take 5 as a left arm offspinner makes me happy :D
