Imagine the headlines if he crashed into a pole: "Mango Pulp" or "Bruised Mango" depending on the severity of the impact. "Mango Puree" is nice or what if an accident occurred in Bowen? *drools*

Kinda reminds me of when F1 driver Jenson Button was caught doing 238kph in a diesel BMW 330i a few years back. His father came out in the papers saying BMW should be happy/pay the fine as it proved a diesel could go that fast :P

or maybe he was a student & couldn't afford to pay for his licence? $60 may not be much to nerds living at home off mummy and daddy, but to a struggling student it could be food or tuition.

Don't the majority of students live with their parents anyway? I am a student dood and i work 35 or so hours during uni per week. Its not that hard.

I know a f***ton of people that didn't bother getting their license until they were older than 20. Some didn't have cars, some were happy with public transport.

And i'm a full time student and i manage to work 25hrs a week.

That being said i still live at home sponging of mum and dad. all my money goes into travelling/valley on friday nights
