After her husband's unexpected death and subsequent financial woes, suburban mom Nancy Botwin (Parker) embraces a new profession: the neighborhood pot dealer. As it seems like everyone secretly wants what she's selling -- even city councilman Doug Wilson (Nealon) -- Nancy is faced with keeping her family life in check and her enterprise a secret from her best friend/PTA president, Celia Hodes (Perkins).

This show totally snuck the f*** up on me! It has aired 2 seasons in the states but is just starting on channel 9 here, 9.30pm Tuesday nights.

Everyone should have a look. The writing is excellent, very funny. It's not a show that only stoners can enjoy, it is just genuinely awesome and funny.

Anyone else a fan? If not, check it out and I bet you will be!

Other then that, it sucked absolute balls.

haha yeah I definitely don't think it's the most realistic, but I find it pretty hilarious. Uncle Andy is a legend. Having cyber sex with his nephew's deaf girlfriend was gold.

One thing though, the buds actually look like buds! Probably the first movie or show I've seen where a bag of weed doesn't look like a brick of lawnmower clippings!

Weeds is an awesome show, how could you not like it.

Same thing happened on Nip/Tuck the other night, when the mum comes home and the house wreaks of pot, so she goes storming into her sons room, to find HER mother in there ripping cones by herself. Was f***en funny as.

I reckon it's not that bad. heard about it for quite sometime and have all the eps so far...

Best guy in it is the Uncle who comes to stay. Just sits around smoking pot and tuning women. Oh and the stoner Mayor!

It isn't the best but it fills in the gaps left by series that have ended for the summer

I think it's an awesome show. Season 2 drifted a bit, and the fact it ended on a cliffhanger stank like bong water, but i still rate it as awesome and wish it a speedy return and longer eps. Each one is over way too fast. I get at least one big laugh out of each ep plus many smirks.

The mum is hot and they say c***.

Those 2 things alone won me over.

It started slow but then got addictive (pun?)

Stick with it, it's a pretty good show.

yeah season 1 was awesome but season 2 kinda went off the rails (for me) hoping it might pick back up again with s3, who knows
