From AustralianIT Major changes under the new laws make it legal for people to transfer their CD collections to computers or iPods, but toughen penalties for pirates. Sounds great as this is all i do with my music, ie. buy CDs them, rip them into mp3's and never use the CD again. Then i am free to use the mp3 on my laptop, desktop, mediacentre, ipod or ipaq. |

part of the copyright amendment bill is to allow copyright material to be used in a satirical sense without fear of legal retribution...
