Topic: Patching BF2?

Ok, I got the giant "patch" for BF2 and installed it, it certainly seemed to patch things, my HDD went nuts, little progress bars moved around. I still can't play online though, and it still says "Beta 2" at the bottom right. It says the server is a newer version? I installed BF2_Patch_1.41.

I'm probably doing something noob wrong, but I don't know what it might be...

I don't mind it. The way they've patched the crap out of it is annoying, but I still like it... What else am I gunna play?!?! CS? WoW?

Also, I've always wondered, where is that quote from Paveway?

Bat Begins

Also, try uninstalling bf2 and then re-installing it with just the last full patch. Something may have gone wrong during the progressive patching.

Just looking at some screenies of CoH, and am I wrong in thinking it's an RTS?
