Hey everyone,

I want to rollout an image for multiple, identical workstations. Now i know sysprep them first so all you need to enter is key and a few bibs and bobs, but wondering whats the best software for the rollout? Can I just create a dvd with the image, make it bootable and restore? Or run software on an XP box and rollout across lan? Please note this Lan will be separate from the main so flooding the lan isn't a problem. What about running a PXE Server?

Any ideas much appreciated

We use Zenworks.

It removes the need for sysprep.
Has PXE and wake on lan etc etc. Believe it can be run in a Windows AD environment.

we just use ghost (v7.5) multicast at work. works well.

I'm about to embark on a Zenworks mission, here's hoping :)

yep i can vouch for zenworks, we use it in all the qld health hospitals and it seems to work pretty flawlessly over a few thousand PCs.
