I'm just moving in to a brand new townhouse (rental, just sold my own) and have been told by the management of the property that they don't allow blu tac to be used on walls as they claim it leaves unsightly oil stains on the paint. Besides that, does anyone know of any other adhesive type products that could be used to stick posters and other wall hanging type items up? I am allowed to use those plastic hooks with the adhesive tape that you pull downwards to remove from the walls, but I have alot of posters I really want to hang in my new "computer room".

3m make whats called poster hangers or some s***, its bassically the same thing that you use to stick those hooks up with that you can pull down, except minus the hook and one side is specially designed to have poster/paper stuck to it and not damage it when you take them down, its great stuff adn holds posters up really well, especially really large heavy ones. the only downside is that its exspensive. somethign like $6 to get enough thingos to hang up 4 posters. only place ive found them sold is bunnigns.

Thanks groydis, sounds like exactly what I'm after...I have about 5 posters I "found" from various bus stops I want to hang, and these things are rather large.
