Its an expansion pack...
However you dont require the original to play it. You can play all 7 races in the singler player mode, but only the 2 new races in multiplayer (unless you have the original DoW and Winter Assault installed, then you can play all 7)

Singleplayer is more of a C&C style open map, choose where you attack, rather than the DoW and Winter Assault style linear singleplayer.

its priced as an expansion at 55 bucks however it sucks if you dont own the originals. Multiplayer is pretty awesome. 7 races!!! so uh u may as well grab the GOTY edition of DOW with Winter Assault. Its a budget price title now anyway.

read somewhere that THQ have removed cd checks n stuff as well like they did in COH so you can indulge in some less-than-legit LAN action anyways IF AND U KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

ok the campaign mode is pretty good. sort of like Rome: Total War style turn based. AI is f***en crazy. MASSIVE BATTLES. Also the commander wargear and honor squads are an awesome addition. Necrons are waaay cool. thats all.

yeah i got DOW and Winter Assault will be buying this for sure i love the multi player.

you know when you first load it up it asks you for your dow and winterassault cdkey, it says mine are invalid even though they are legit copies. this s***s me off.

no s***? I had no dramas. I just punched in the keys on my manuals and boom no sweat. that is indeed very gay. keep us posted.

You have to input the same keys that are in your registry, i think caps might be important too.

Check your registry and make sure the keys you are trying to enter are identical.

i am loving company of heroes. they make good games!

i don't have WA or DC yet, but normal dow will only connect to about 20% of online games since i had to get a router, f***ing s***s me to tears

its usually to do with the host player, the host~!

It's still the same in Dark Crusade. Sometimes you can join someones game. Then someone else joins it and you can't anymore.

It's like I got transported back in time and started playing games over FTP.

This campaign rocks, really enjoying it cause havent played Dawn of war in ages.

Just got the Anthology this morning (didn't have Winter Assault either) and am loving it. Tau rock very hard. I love the campaign idea with all 7 armies. I can see MANY hours lost to playing DoW!!!

i just finished the normal dow campaign on insane took me a f***ing while

i'd forgeten the missions past where you kill isador
