Don't know about the wanting to believe thing, but I don't see how the possibility can't be discounted. Mind you, one would hope an alien race capable of travelling the vast distances of space would somehow be able to do better to avoid detection. Unless they were just as incompetent as us humans... oh wait a minute, what was I saying again?

I would have to see some more compelling evidence for aliens myself and as far as the divine goes, refer to my second paragraph above :P

people see unidentified flying objects all the time... they just aren't aliens :[ the last shuttle mission to the international space station reported 3 ufo's which turned out to be plastic bags that hadn't been secured in the shuttle cargo bay & drifted out into space. (damn litterbugs)

but no doubt, after most everyone has forgotten such a minor incident, the alien believing conspriracy theorists will change the story to giant mutant space jeellyfish that will kill us all!!@#!!@# ;D

I've been watching the videos and they are pretty cool. Although it's funny how no one can capture a ufo on camera/film without it looking as blurry as s***. I like watching stuff like this even though I think it's all bulls***.

If it wasn't blurry, then they could identify it and then it wouldnt be an unidentified flying object.

yeah much like my views on God: I won't be a believer unless I see it myself but its always good to keep an open mind about it. I mean its not completely impossible
