Well, I finally had enough of my old 533 mhz bus P4G8X-Deluxe which has gone pretty much as far as it can go what with it dropping IDE controllers an such. Well, that and seeing as I got made redundant on Fri from the latest idiocy in the US with their new illegal gambling laws I needed cheering up (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)

My new Weapon:

CPU: Dual Core 6700
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6
Vid: 1GB Albatron 7950GX2
RAM: Geil Ultra DDR2 2GB 800MHz
Drives: 2x 74gb WD Raptors in RAID0
1x WD 320gb
Soundcard: Creative X-Fi Platinum
PSU: 580 watt Tagen
Case: Gigabyte 3D Aurora Aluminum (Black)

Got everything from Computer Alliance
Mad props to koopz for helping me put it together and to Tim in Sales for doin a sweet price on it for me :)
Been up all night drooling and installing random games to test drive it on an all I can say is

MOTHERf***ING f***ING AWESOME!!

Thanks fellas!

First time I've ever been debt free in my Adult life.
Sucks tho, was the best workplace environment I've ever had the priviledge to be involved in. The vast majority of the people there were simply awesome both in ability and personality.

Well not $$$, but the occasional $ or $$ doesn't go astray

but if it was $$$ constantly, i'd get a new one.

/derail.

I run an AMD. I got it cos it was the best price vs performance at the time

if intel is the new AMD, then i'd go intel.

Quadcore is coming out sometime in the near future.. Technology can be frustrating when it becomes obsolete and cheap in no time at all :/
