Topic: Torana moving on its own steam!

Well, Last night I finished off the Torana... It's now moving FULLY on its own steam (and is fully finished Mechanically)... (even took it for a test drive on the road, with the back door roped shut =D)

The only down side is the pillar is pushed in and so the new doors don't fit on properly, and I have to pay what is probably going to be around $700 to get it pulled out again...

Once I do that, I can throw the new painted doors on and she's finished =)
Just gotta wait till a panelbeater is available to do the work, which might not be awhile given the christmas holidays...

I have photo's and I'll scan them and post them when the proper forum is back up.

klayman, ok I'll post them on the aaclub forums as soon as I get them scanned... they're photo's of the car just after the accident..

I got the new diff in, heavy duty springs, new shocks, bled the brakes with my dad so I actually have brakes =)

She sits alot higher in the back now, but the ride is alot smoother, and I'll get her lowered in the future when I have money.

But yeah, she actually moves again by herself, entirely mechanically fixed! not bad for only 2 weeks after the accident don't you think?

Evisc, you'll need to learn how to reverse out of a driveway without hitting alfa's parked across the street first.

at least I never hit anything while driving before =)

Rubba has hit a wall while parkin, and Evisc reversed into a car...

I instead cop a Tarago in the side =(
Yea yea I know it was my fault... but stfu, anybody coulda made the mistake of misjudging/not seeing...

But she coulda made a better effort of not hitting me is all I'm saying... Just cause I cut her off/turned in front of her/did the wrong thing... doesn't mean she has to hit me...
Still dunno where she came from, nobody saw her *Shrugs*... haven't heard from insurance yet either, which is kinda odd to be so long... putting it down to christmas time... but if this lady is well off, and being as nice as she was, she might not claim... but I seriously doubt it 573% =)
