i guess if going to the BDO to see your favourite band is too much of a hassle, you can always just buy their latest dvd

That's not the point. You said they are coming to Brisbane, which is not the same thing as the Coast.

I, like many others, will be going to BDO to see Tool, but if they're going to potentially have their own concert, I'd rather go to that as it's a longer performance and won't have as many tards (or 'tarts' on QGL?) there.

To go to the tool concert it's $96-$107. BDO is what, like $125? And u get to spend a whole day at the fest and see like a dozen other bands.

Yeah am going to BDO, but would rather see them in full concert, not for only 1 hour. If anyone knows of people selling tickets please let me know!

I'm prolly going to the BDO too, if it's the only way I can see Muse. But it's not just $125 - you have to go down there, which is a pain in the ass, and get back, which is a similar pain in the ass - worse, probably, because everyone leaves at the same time but you can get there later in the day.

There are Tool tickets listed on ebay for both the Melbourne and Sydney shows but you'll be paying about $500+ for 2 tickets.

I've seen Tool twice in concert and they are seriously the best live band I have ever seen.

ya, I am from Sydney, but over here for work, so I can't wait to see tool, seeing Muse when they tour as well and Wolfmother are coming here in a few weeks to, seem to get a few big bands over this way.

A big show at Wembley I don't think will be the best environment to see them, the smaller in door gigs are better for the accoustics etc, but it'll be awesome to be there amongst 60,000+ people!

If not here in Ireland over in the UK, which is only an hour away, so it's awesome for live music :)
