the average science fiction tv show has 1/2 to 3/4 of the cgi that most full length movies have had lately. (thank you nerdy Star-Gate websites for that uninsteresting fact).


indeed - the money is in larger numbers... the tech that blew us all away in the Starwars movies is just average effects these days. It can't be topped anymore (unless you can wire it into our brains and make us actually "there" watching it - gee now we know where reality-tv is going ;) )

^ star wars had a lot of great fundamentals, which makes it appear to be copied by every other movie out there, but on the whole, it was pretty poor ... scenes sucked, dialogue sucked (apart from having a cult following "may the force be with you" is a very standard line, nothing to really marvel at), general plot and how it was executed sucked

as for having no intelligence, quit being a fan boy and raise your standards a little. yes star wars is better than 95% of films, no that doesn't make it all that 'good'

highest rating any of the star wars films ever got from me was 6/10, maybe 7/10 if lucky

Would he be willing to sign a contract saying he would not make anymore movies? You would have to be blind to like the them, if you were a kid they would be great. But these new ones were some of the most s*** films I have ever seen. I would put it up there with Man on fire, Domino, Street fighter (with kylie) and anything with Tom Cruise and Kevin Costner.

You must of had some seriously high expectations for Man of Fire to be lumping it with the prequels.

Step no I didn't to be honest, but it just sucked in ways I never thought a film could suck. It is my top 5 of worst films made for me.

The art work in all his films is f***ing spectacular. You would have to be a clueless pole punching f***** with no brain to think they where made for adults. I bet you hold the same opinion of the wiggles you stupid stain.

Ross, the Original Trilogy were great popcorn films that were enjoyed and are still being enjoyed by children and adults. The Prequels however are THE most inane, retarded, soul crushing, maggot-filled excrement ever smeared across a movie screen. They will be deplored and hated for eternity, not so much because of what they are but the way they demeaned the much loved Original Trilogy.

Lucas is arrogant because, whilst he did create SW he doesnt realize that it became much bigger than himself, and any one person who contributed to it.

I could s*** on you Ross quite easily, but I know in time your mind will clear and you will be at one with the force.
