Greetings,

Was thinking of purchasing a Seagate SATAII NCQ 320GB 7200RPM 16mb Cache and wanted to know if anyone had one of these and if they did have had any problems with them?

Nope, not as yet
That said, if I was going to buy a 320 + size drive I'd also be installing it into a system that had fan cooled drive bays

I've bought several of these drives recently for people I've been building computers for. No problems with any of them.

Ta Nailbomb. Hmmm 2 outta 2 it seems. Sounds good to me. Did you have to buy any extra cooling pheriperals?

I didn't and it'll still work fine without the additional cooling but that said, it can't hurt to have it if you don't mind forking out the extra dosh.

I bought two of them last week and so far no problems. They are significantly cooler than the 160's they replaced.

I bought a 300 seagate hdd a while ago... it died within a week >:|

It is also way noiser than my WD 200 hdd.

That's just my personal experience, its always different from person to person.
