Funcom have announced a joint publishing deal for their upcoming MMO Age of Conan, as well as a slight delay:

The two parties have agreed to set the new launch window between March and May 2007. The contract contains specific sales targets, which, if met, will make 'Age of Conan' a highly successful game. The PC version of 'Age of Conan' is currently in the Beta phase of development and Funcom and SCi/Eidos are pleased with the status of the game. Funcom and SCi/Eidos will also co-operate to bring the game to the console market.

Guess they figured dumbing it down for consoles was going to be the only way they could compete with WoW on any sort of level. Still, here's hoping it turns out to be a reasonable sort of game :)

holy s***, i have never heard about this game before but now after checking out its site, i think this may be the first mmo that i will actually give a shot.

sif funcom wouldnt just do a MMO inside the longest journey world/s.  that would rock, dress up in your armour and go lay seige to stark
