StreX, I have a phone which has been 'branded' by the provider. I am unable to upload MP3's and use them as ring tones.

Kat you still should be able to upload stuff to your own fkn phone, they can't stop you from doing that, SURELY!!!
If they do and it has one of those memory cards, use someone elses phone to download onto it and then stick it back into your phone. Or just bluetooth etc etc |

Google for it Kat, there's a tutorial somewhere. You need to register and download for the Sony-Ericsson developer tools, then you can encrypt your own MP3s with the same DRM settings that vodafone use. Then its smoooooth sailing.

K800i dominates phones, I moved from my Nokia N91 to the K800i for my weekend phone and wont look back. The camera quality on that thing is just awesome. 3.2mp ftw :P

Well Heardy, i haven't figured out what price i'm comfortable selling the n80 at.
reason I'm selling it? it was kinda an impulse purchase in singapore when there wasn't stock of the k800i. and it's too much like a pda for my liking. i want my phone to act like a phone... and maybe sometimes like a camera... not a pda since i already have one. |
