http://slashdot.org has a mobile optimised version. I haven't been able to find many others. Does it run Windows Mobile or some lame SonyOS thing?

So I don't have to start another mobile thread, is there anywhere you can buy screen covers for mobiles? I just want a clear plastic sheet (like the contact you cover your school books with) to put over the screen and camera... unfortunately I don't think I can get a whole case for the camera.

strex, I was asknig cuz if it was Windows Mobile you could just install AvantGo, which gives you a heap of content stuff for it. I just went to check to see if AvantGo have a non-Windows Mobile version but the site is down for maintenance at the moment - maybe worth a look, www.avantgo.com.

I can prolly whip up a mobile-friendly version of ausgamers.com and the forums - while I was overseas I wished I had one because I was on a mobile platform (Ipaq) most of the time!

There's an app out there (name escapes me) that lets you download sites (news, etc) to your PDA so you can view them while offline.. was handy for things like slashdot, the reg, news.com.au, etc when I couldn't be arsed waiting for the sites to download.

strex, oh, also of interest - gmail has a special mobile view and so does Google - the Google search thing though is really cool. What it does is when you search for something and then follow the Google link, Google actually readjusts the content on the page for your mobile device! It didn't work all the time but it was pretty neat, made reading web pages much easier.

I think its just m.google.com but I'm not sure.

Hey Willy! There is a place opposite Sizzler in the city on Elizabeth Street. I forget the name, but its near the arcade. Little Chinese type store.

They have rubber housings for like heeaps of mobiles. I have a k600i and I can still use the camera and everything.. only cost $10!

FYI I got screen covers from Harveys for PDA and cut it to size with a Stanley knife and it worked sweet.

Doing the websites (like QGL and AusGamers etc) is a bit easier than the forums, but I'll see if I can do them both at once.

how do you find your jasjar?

Personally, I would favour an atom over one, but I sell both, and I'm interested in how you've found it...
