I travelled with him on his European leg, we slept mostly on the overnight trains travelling from one country to the next. The Norway rock is just like it looks, a rock with a drop that's almost 1k down.. I was giving him a bit of a hard time on the way up, trying to psych him out like a true travelling companion, even mentioned when I got on the rock that the wind was a bit gusty and unpredictable.. one good burst and you'd be gone... all credit to him though, he danced the dance. But yeah, at least for the European leg, it was true shoestring stuff.
