Pretty tense match. Australia were under seige for ages.

Wow... what a f***in game. I didn't make it out for this one but didn't need to - the atmosphere at my place was wall to wall tension with my whole family up screaming at the TV.

Kewell's goal was f***ing awesome... but he was offside... but I don't care cause gaybo ref didn't pull up TWO HANDBALLS IN THE BOX and a f***IGN RUGBY TACKLE ON VIDUKE IN FRONT OF THE GOAL MOUTH.

Australia definitely played better (although the last 5 minutes was f***ing scary as s***).

He gave him 3 yellows all up I think and that red card he finally gave him was after the fulltime whistle. Boggles the mind. If only FIFA watched the game and suspended refs who made too many mistakes. He wasn't as bad as some but what about that second handball in the box? This game is a perfect case in point for the use of the third umpire, even if it is retrospectively.

So hard for the ref's to see I guess, which doesn't excuse it at all. They maybe should have linesmen on both sides of the field for the full length (4 in toto). Either that or a quick message from a third umpire to the ear piece of the ref to let him know about the penalty. Then they can just replay on the big screen to shut the f***ing whingers up.

Oh, but we don't have Emerton:( He played really well in this match. He was the only one to get suspended wasn't he????

Don't think he made it into the game - I would assume he woulda called/sms'ed us for that but the message this morning didn't say he got in. On that note, at the start of the game there seemed like a s***load of empty seats on the top tier.

I personally think the Aussie chick in the yellow with the rather large breasts was ok to look at.

We have had BS ref's every game.... Say what you want but no ref's are taking us seriously. That's all there is to it. If you can't see that then you have got problems. Give us a real referee experience and we will go very far.

I've watched a couple of other games and thought that ref's were completely unbiased. Some dodgey calls here and there but nothing that couldn't have gone either way.

Tuesday Morning - We are organising with qld gov to close Park Rd for the game, setting up massive big screens and heaps of other s***..

The second handball was the biggest load of s***. The d******* ref awarded a corner and the guy that handballed was the only one who touched it. To top it off he yellow cards Emerton for handball when it was KICKED INTO HIM.

That guy must have been payed off or something, what a f***ing clown.

Also our number 2 keeper should be drawn and quartered. Doesn't make an easy save, nearly concedes an own goal by fumbling and consistantly gave the ball away on throws.

That ref was easily the crapiest ref we have had throughout the cup. I thought that Brazil vs Aus ref was dodgy, this guy was even worse.

...and I don't think Harry's goal was offside (only saw it replayed with the overhead angle once though) - the Croat defenders in the middle around Aloissi were keeping Harry onside.

Ive been appauled by the overall standard of refs in this world cup. Never seen so many bad decisions and I've noticed the refs tend to favour decisions toward European teams, especially against the african teams and Oz.
Emerton did really well in both the Brazil match and Czech. Australia is gona miss him in the match against Italy.

My mate who watched the game told me that, for a few moments, there were two balls on the field? Also, one player got 3x Yellow Cards (?!).

The two balls was like LOL... that was a stupid Croat f***up. One Croation already threw a ball in, adn then another was about to throw another ball in, so the ref called a penalty and rightly so. Made me lol and wtf m8?

Simic and Emerton were both dismissed for two bookable offences in the final 10 minutes, while Simunic, who received a second caution, was mistakenly not shown a red by referee Poll.

To add to the drama, Cahill had a goal disallowed as Poll had already blown for full time and as Simunic complained, the referee handed him his third yellow of the match and an overdue red card.

was at park road this morning, zomg.

got woken up at 2am by the airhorns on park road signalling the italian game..

wwfmike woke me up at 3:30 to say to get there fast because it was filling up

we endedu p there around 4am and by 4:30 the place was packed to the rafters.

f***ing insane, im worried about this next game coz i dont think i can go through what i just did today, being completely dead... but if i sleep im gonna get woken up by the noise every time theres a goal either way and gonna want to check the score :p

Lucas Neill is going to get a BIG offer from a BIG European club. I can't think of any defender atm that Neill can't cut it with. His timing on last-defender tackles is just impecable, has been for all 3 games.

I watched this game in the shaftsbury avenue walkabout, just near picadilly circus, it was totally packed, the atmosphere was great.

I didnt make the game, unfortunately - Stuttgart was mad packed with Aussies and Croats (and smoking hot chicks, man there are some amazing looking women there).

We ended up going to a beerhall for pre-game drinks with a stack of Aussies. Most of them went off to the game afterwards but there were still assloads left there for the game. We sat at our table with a couple of steins and it was awesome fun. Afterwards everyone came back to the beer hall and drank and partied. I am still recovering, hence this late update.

Its basically not even possible to explain how neat it is over here at the moment. I wish I could get my photos online but it is a real pain. I will be back soon anyway.

nah everyone has been toooootally f***ing cool so far. There was some concern that the croats might kick off after the game (whether they won or lost) but all reports i got were that they were all really cool - the ones I saw seemed fine, if a bit disappointed.

Yeh I heard the poms started some s*** in Stuttgart the day after I left. Tools. There were assloads of them flooding in as we were leaving. Some of them seem like just total yobbos. I heard from friends in the UK that in some places they threw bottles and s*** at big screens, so now they have just taken down the big screens to prevent peopel from breaking them.

The german police though are so awesome and are in such huge numbers that from what I heard they smashed the english guys down really quickly. There are two sorts of cops over here - guys in green, who we call the nice cops, because they are generally just sitting around, and guys in black, who are the bad cops - these guys look totally badass and generally sit around in these vans that you can see are packed with riot gear. Some of them are the biggest people I have ever f***ing seen in my life and they all look like they could tear you apart.

We asked someone yesterday, apparently the black cops are actually some branch of military police. So I suspect if anyone starts any s*** the green cops have a crack at sorting it out and if it escalates they get in these black dudes with the riot gear to really lay down the smack.
