if a work computer is set so that when u log off, everything on desktop and 'My Documents' are deleted (but files in C:\ are not). Is there anyway to recover these files the next time you log on and find them all disappeared?
I have stupidly saved a rather important file on the desktop of a work computer, when logged on as a guest and found myself in this situation. but at the same time, files saved in the C:\ are still there... IS THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN RECOVER THIS/THESE LOST FILES FROM THE DESKTOP??? ... Ta |

Something like this. I don't know if there are any free alternatives, or which is the best to purchase, but that's the kind've thing you want.
Unless you happen to have unix on the system. Also, stop using the computer unless you want to risk losing the files for good. |
