hey guys..
i was wondering if any of the 1.6 players still out there know how to fix my problem i got a new mouse a while ago a logitech mx510, iv installed the latest setpoint drivers. now with my old mouse, using sensitivity 1 in 1.6 would be really low. but using 1 with this new f***ing piece of s***, it feels lik 3-4. why the f*** does this alwasy f***ing change, its so frustrating because it basically aiming impossible if youre so used to a certain sens... the cpl mouse fix only stop accelleration, wtf do i have to do? f***ing so annoying.. mouse accell etc is all turned off, but its not accell, its just that sens 1 wit this mouse is so much higher then before.. how do i drop it? without having my windows sens down to next to nothing obviously ;p |

This migh seem obvious, but in the console ..
/sensitivity 0.2 Or has there been some recent restriction to stop you from manually dropping below 1.0? |

Thats right, just choose whatever sense you want, you can go below 1.
Also i use a logitech mx510 and i have no problems with sense in cs 1.6. |

uhhhh are you sure How about you spend 60 seconds launching CS to confirm? That would be quicker than waiting for a reply here. |

err, wrong, you cant go under 1.0, it just stays at 1.......
exi the logitec drivers fk up ur sense.. i think if u use the mouse with no drivers, it works normally, but if u want to use drivers your best bet is to lower the sensitivity in windows a few notches, and then re work out your sens in CS. |

In SetPoint, change mouse acceleration to Windows OS implementation.

I appreciate you trying to be smart, but I think he meant he has the newbie checkbox for acceleration unchecked in MouseWare properties for logitech mice. Players do make a point of having these commands in the launch options AND have that checkbox unmarked .. think of it as double bagging. In fact I'm not sure that all 3 of those commands are all specific to acceleration anywhere. Just general mouse s***. last edited by levels at 01:56:19 19/Jun/06 |
