This is a solo freestyle I did as a showcase at a local bboy event called Rip It. It was supposed to be with one other guy, but he bailed at the last second, so I had to do it alone and I had no idea to what tracks lol.. But anyway, the locking is shiet so don't take any notice of it :P - you'll know what that is from the funny looking part :S

At least you're honest. As for being popular with the ladies, I honestly couldn't tell you.. I do it purely for enjoyment, however most of the girls I know at the studio I go to seem to enjoy watching it, as do people at clubs.

I learned from a Korean guy who was over here for about 6 months.. Now I teach it at Industrie One over at Morningside :)

nah hot s***, I reckon they made you go too long. No matter how many styles you have, 5 minutes is too long to watch anything.

a couple of things...

1) eat more, I could nearly mistake you for a 3rd world somalian (starvin' marvin')

2) props for getting up and givin' it a lash

3) stobe thing was TOPS :D

4) alot of it seemed to be repative, maybe it was me :/

Been popping just over a year (started April 05), and mucked around with liquid a few months before that. Nah I don't break, I'm 25 now and I figure by the time I'm a "good" breaker, I'd be on the way down physically.. Funk styles all the way!

And yeah, tracks were terrible, I had no control over tracks/length of it at all :(

saw one guy in that video that made me go "wow thats cool". a few were alright, few more were meh, and most were lol. the problem with the melb shuffle is you have to be really really good to make it look good. basic shuffling is f***ign retarded it looks like someone trying to do riverdance on drugs. I've seen tonnes of vids of shufflers, even that one where it was filmed at a shuffling comp in melb. Same thing, most were utter s***e and only 1 or 2 people make it look good.

crip walking is cool. most electronic dancing is cool.

mix the two together and it combusts to form all sorts of gay.

Industrie One. They're over at Morningside (map etc on the site). I teach there on Saturdays from 2:30-4pm.. There's also a jam session straight after that for whoever wants to from 4-6pm.
