Just a heads up for any soccer fans that couldn't be f***ed getting up at 4:30 this morning to watch it. The game is being replayed tonight at 10:00pm (yes I realise it's 10:20, sorry).

Unlucky for arsenal cause they were defending so well... then all the sudden letting 2 goals in 5 minutes.

I caught most of this game at a pub here in New York (man games at 2.30pm sure beat getting up at 4am back home). Was chatting to some english dudes who thought the red card of the keeper was a bit lame - I thought the tackle might've been a bit harsh but they probably should have just played the advantage. I missed Barcelona's two goals so I guess the end was pretty exciting but 10v11 I guess it's really just a matter of time.

yea i watched it at 4:30am, game wasnt the best, ref was crap. for such a big game they needed a better ref. would've been a hard decision to make tho, red card, goal or both. but barca deseverd to win. eto'o, man he is good. if they get henry aswell that'll be one awesome side. next year shall be bremen.

Was a good match. Crushing for Arsenal. Just a lapse of concentration...a bit of Eto'o magic and all over ...

Ref screw ups
1) Lehman red card 2) Eboue's dive 3) Eto's offside goal 4) Henry's yellow card 5) Multiple free kicks that should have been yellow cards. gg flying knees into Henry. |

Despite all that, arsenal conceeded goals and that's what counted for their loss in the end.

Ref screw upsAs if. It was a professional foul and he was right to send him off. Lehman initially was going for the ball, but once Eto'o poked it beyond his reach he went for his foot. Deliberate foul to prevent a goal being scored is always going to be an instant red card. |
