"Super Massive Black Hole". Heard it for the first time this morning and my first impression was that it sounded like Britney Spears should have been singing it. J and the Doctor rightly described it as "Prince-like". It's so different and wierd sounding - barely recognisable as Muse. From the discussions that I've heard so far I know a lot of other people have mixed feelings.

After hearing the whole thing I think it would absolutely rock live and I gotta say that good on them for being so ballsy to release soemthing so unique. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

I heard it yesterday, I was utterly shocked, but didnt dis-like it. When I heard it this morning, I could feel it instantly starting to grow on me, It'll make the hottest 100 next year for sure.

Matt Bellamy has apparently said that this single is a one off. I'm all for bands taking a new direction, e.g SOAD, but i'm not a fan of this new song (well not yet anyway, but even if i like the whole new album when it's released, it would prob be one of the songs i skip past without fail)

Muse will still be one of, if not, my favourite bands, even if they do release a s***ty single, or i don't like there new album. Everything else i absolutely love .. YAY for me.

Just heard it on JJJ - wasn't terribly impressed with it as a muse song, but standing alone it was alright. I was driving when I heard it - I zoned out to focus on driving for a while, then when I started listening again it took me a while to realise it was still the same song and that is was muse - definitely different, but not terrible :)

They played 3 new songs live on Radio 1 recently. Including SMBH...sounds so good and HEAVY live.

Starlight is an awesome song, and Knights of Cydonia is more of an Absolution style track...maybe more epic though.

if you havent herd it - its s***. sounds like rogue traders with matty b singing. Theres no funky rhythms, no fancy bass work, its just a bland pop song. very very strange for muse to be putting out stuff like this, hope its not a sign of what to expect on the album :(
