Who would void their warranty on an expensive console like this ? Chances are ms could pick you up on live for this too, and ban you for life like that did with the xbox1.

I don't think many people will do this.

yeah since its only new to the scene the only people that have done it are people in the hacking community and im pretty sure they dont give a f*** if xbox cancels there live subscription and bars there serial from getting onto live.

i personally am waiting a few months to see what happens and to see what action microsoft will take agaisnt this. id never run the risk of hacking my xbox360 just to play back up games then get locked off live, however i would buy another xbox and hack it to run it as a media centre like the hacked versions of the xbox, so untill that happens i dont see myself using it.

its good news however, now they have worked out how to flash the drives and still get it to function there another step closer to doing the above that i mentioned.

/Must not open xbox and do silly h4x to void warranty...arggg so tempting.

Think id rather wait and see linux ported to it.
