Wow, I had no idea this film was coming out today. Where was the marketing?

I don't know if there was much on TV, but usually for these big summer releases the internet is full of ads. I've been seeing endless ads for X3 and The Da Vinci Code. I guess it's a good thing, because I was not hyped for the film at all.

In short, it was pretty awesome. The story was very simple with a couple of twists (to be expected from Abrams (Alias, Lost). The action was very intense though, and the pacing flowed really well. The film was chock full of it.

It ended up being two hours long but seemed much longer (good thing). All in all, much better than Woo's attempt, and in my opinion, more engaging than the first film.

If you're tech savvy, you really have to get your mindframe away from that when watching any film like this though (or anything hollywood offers up). Alligator clips on ethernet cable FTW!

I'm surprised you guys reckon its good? Or do you just have low standards? I saw the trailer and I nearly burst out laughing at how bad it looked, and how bad Mapother looked trying to act (it looked like he was taking a s***).

Also does the film really have anything to do with the original Mission Impossible 'Team' concept? It just seems to be all about Ethan Hunt, who in my opinion is an American clone of James Bond.

Besides, I dont think we should encourage/contribute to Mapother and his pals at the Church of Scientology.

Speaking of, did i see in the trailer something about a bomb in cruises head? Because that same plotline was in a recent episode of alias. (Not that it hasnt been used before by other people)

Yeah you will see a lot of your favourite scenes from Lost and Alias in this movie reenacted by Tom

It even has a cameo of Eric Weiss as Ethan's friend.

I enjoyed the movie. There was plentl of good action that was well spaced throughout the film.

The only part that I didn't like were the corny sentimental moments - but other than that I liked it. Good, fun action movie where the acting and storyline don't totally destroy the whole experience.

Man new age super spy's don't fall in love, They get down and drity with the bitches no attention given, no attention needed. If Ethan has to pretend he love this one. HE'S NO SUPER SPY.

Jack Bauer would kick Ethan Hunt's arse.

Therefore MI:3 sucks.

mi2 sucked balls, it was recently on late night tv and omg, i forgot much australians f*** up movies, aussie accents everywhere, oh not to mention woo must of had his nuts in a vice cause the whole script and lack of direction dribbles like s*** out of tom cruises mouth.

and talk about a f***ing way out there storyline that is so f***ing stupid, it was cool however to see the villan living on sydney harbour, the way i figure and clearly hollywood assumes as well that anyone able to afford a house on the water in sydney must be f***ing selling a deadly cell eating virus to the highest bidder, who just happens to be english willing to pay 27 million pounds.

and to think anthony hopkins put his name on mi2 aswell, but in saying all of that, i prefered tom cruise back then to now, its good to watch a movie with only one scientoligist in it see tom ropes everyone he f***ing touches into becoming one, like the king and his gold f***ing touch.

either way im off to go see mi3 now just because it looks better then number 2 and just because i need a movie ticket to stick between my ass to stop s*** getting on my underwear, and i couldnt think of any better movie ticket to stick there then mi:3

So, let me get this right. You haven’t be exposed to any advertising outlets, but you are wondering why you haven’t seen any advertising? Do you expect a written invitation?

I'm surprised you guys reckon its good? Or do you just have low standards? I saw the trailer ….

So, you have only seen the trailer? The movie itself was probably the best of all of the MI movies to come out. It wasn’t brilliant cinema, but for a Hollywood action movie it is pretty good.

Also does the film really have anything to do with the original Mission Impossible 'Team' concept? It just seems to be all about Ethan Hunt, who in my opinion is an American clone of James Bond.

MI:3 does attempt to attribute that there is a team. In fact, in this movie the team actually does stuff, other than die. The protagonist is still Ethan Hunt, but considering that, this is Hollywood and it is designed for your average American audience, it isn’t surprising that they stick to a single protagonist.

Besides, I dont think we should encourage/contribute to Mapother and his pals at the Church of Scientology.

i can't believe how f***ing ridiculous you guys are as to oppose to a movie because of one of the actors beliefs, seriously grow the f*** up

i hate all forms of smoking and think it's a disgusting filthy habit but i'm not going to not speak to or see someone just because they do it, and as most of you know my circumstances surely you can't be as passionate as i am about my hate for smoking in regards to this mans beliefs, so get the f*** over it and enjoy/hate the movie for what it is.

for once mav is right, after watching the movie and from someone who has seen a many tom cruise movies he never wipes the script with his scientology ass and try to convert the mass of morons that watch his fims *aka you guys*

the movie was nothingless then your typical 2 hour action packed fest of blowing s*** up and running from f***ing physco c***s with big guns and no aiming skills, anyone who doesnt like this kind of movie for any other reason then being female is a f***ing cock sucking homosexual that nees to be striped of there genitles and slapped around in the face with them.
