Alrighty here's the deal, its for a real estate front window, showing a high quality 400kb flash with high transition effects. I have already tested a Mac Mini but it has jerkyness doing the flash. The monitor will be the dell 24" widescreen monitor running at 1200x1920 portrait mode.
so the run down, all it needs is case, mobo, cpu, ram, 40gb hd, psu, decent graphics and thats it. no cd/dvd needed apart from initial run up. because it will be in the retail environment needs a small case. Im thinking a shuttle or something along those lines. Waddaya's reckon? |

Asus Pundit or a Shuttle would do you well.

Ray White over at Wishart are using a lowly 2.4gig P4 system. I can't remember the exact number of displays :/ I think it was a dozen in each Window. Prolly worth a look. The guy's son actually figured the entire thing out himself to his credit.
they had a lot of trouble finding the right software for the job. in the end the pc they chose for the task didn't matter so long as the videocard had 128mb or more videoram. |
