There are a heap of moutains that are easily 21km high... and they just appear out of what looks like relatively flat land.

Lolz I'm looking at the map while listening to the Fifth Element Soundtrack.

Also, there are some parts that seem to be in actual colour when on the infrared mode, and you can zoom much closer.

olympus mons is ~24k's tall! you can use the 'mountains' link to find it frappr style.

it'll be cool when this sorta stuff is fully mapped in 3d & you can zoom around just like you were there except without the dying from suffocation/radiation/asphyxiation/etc..
