So next Saturday night they will clash on the Gold Coast.Both fighters have made concessions to make the bout happen.Corbett has moved up from the 86kg division to fight in the 92kg range.For his part,McKinnen has agreed to fight under Muay Thai rules,which allow not only kicking and punching but also knees and elbows.There will be 13 bouts on next Saturday nights card at Royal Pines. Speaking of Anthony Mundine and Danny Green, wern't they supose to have fought last month or is it still comming up? I swear I had heard end of Feburary for it and there is no way I would have missed it if it was posted on any of the news sites.

Nah man the mundine fight is 19 april down at aussie stadium in sydney. Should be f***in wicked! My tickets are 6 rows back from the front barrier in the stand, ring side tickets were over a grand! So stoked!#!@#

Brownie, I got Spartan on the next night dude, considering I had to pay for the repairs to my car thanks to f***ing ex. I can only afford one at the moment and my mate is fighting at Spartan and I need to be there. I have helped him train pretty hard for his fight, told him if he don't win I am going to an atomic butt drop on him.

Five shot, stabbed at boxing event

SEVERAL spectators were shot and stabbed when a kickboxing tournament erupted into a wild brawl on the Gold Coast overnight.

Five men were admitted to hospital following the melee at the Royal Pines Resort, Carrara, about 10.40pm (AEST) yesterday, police said.

One man was shot in the head and back. Another man was shot and stabbed while two other men suffered knife wounds to the abdomen.

A fifth man, thought to be a bystander, was shot in the foot.

Truely a quality event to take the family too...

i left him because he had too many other things on as he was preparing to box again i believe.. trained there for about 2-3 months, most of the time training myself. :|
then i moved to arana hills PCYC and the guys were absolute cocks.. the guys i boxed with..

come back to stafford, they've fixed it all up.
