So what was the last movie you saw and what do you rate it?

We went and saw Underworld - Evolution. *turn on dumb pregnant woman mode* There were WAY to many names to keep up with and the plot was to plotty. It is a direct follow on from Underworld so best to see it just before you go incase you can't remember specifics (like moi). elvis and I were discussing Kate's contract because we think she had a no nude clause and yet she got nude (yet no bits shown) but the fact the guy was having sex with her belly made the moment kinda funny and not sexual. Plus lots of kissing that didn't need to be there.

Yes Vampires kill Vampires and Lykin kill Lykin and they all have no problems killing each other which confused me ever more.... SIDES PEOPLE!!!!1 TAKE SIDES!!!!. Then there is the whole Vampires don't turn to dust thing which threw me off - Damn it they are suppose to turn to dust, don't you want Angel or Buffy Mr Movie Person!!!!
*turn off dumb pregnant woman mode*

I would give it like 3 our of 5

I'll be seeing this is a day or so, I'm looking forward to it actually. Havn't been to the cinema in quite a while.

On dvd's the last one i saw was Crow 4, and by god i wished I had never watched it. Edward Furlong as the crow? No F'ing way!! I still imagine him to be that whiny little bitch from Terminator 2. Tara Reid and David Boreanaz don't make this movie any better. And the image scared into my mind of Danny Trejo, a great "tough man" actor IMO dancing over the body of a dead crow, belly jiggling up and down was just too much for me. I truely wish they stopped making this series after the classic original.

i thought it was a good action movie.
i absolutely LOVED Underworld and was very eager to see U:Evolution but came out of it slightly unsatisfied.
the kissy bits was totally stupid and shouldnt've been in it let alone the "hey look at me im fuking your belly ha-ha"

the whole thing with their father was weird and would've been fukin awesum if he showed what he could do, shame.
the main chick was supposed to be young and not remmeber what exactly happened with her family(in movie#1( but the flash backs(movie#2) show her as like 18 or something.

but yea plotty plotty fo sho. required thinking and effort to keep up. :S

don't you want Angel or Buffy Mr Movie Person!
fuk them, wheres the nigga Blade at?

O.o
Chronicles of Narnia.
Although it had some things in it I really enjoyed it is very much a kiddy movie and hence has much too feel good story plots and an ending to match.
*Spoiler*
Azlan and everyone else getting ressurected was hella annoying as it basically made their sacrifices in the movie meaningless. Oh and while i'm at it, what did the kids actually do in the battle that Azlan and his followers couldn't have done themselves? their inclusion and exploits into the battle was next to nothing at all that Azlans people could not have done for themselves since they did nearly everything in the battle anyway.

Chronicals of Narnia.

I thought was severly lacking in Character Development. The human children had decent development, Aslan(sp?) had a mediocre feeling and the centour had almost none.
Nice CG though, and the music was great, I really liked the music, much better then the movie.

I hope the following chronicals do a better job.

Watched a DVD called stealth last night. I thought it was bloody good which is unlike me because I usually criticize every movie I see especially those action sci-fi types. Good acting and a different story line. I recommend it.

Narnia.

It was pretty cool. *good* child actors are hard to come by evidently, because these ones were pretty s***ty. Gonna second the comment about developing characters. When he gets the sword, he's a total noob with it, pointing it at s*** to try and scare it off. Then all of a sudden, he's a goddamn ninja, doing matrix-esque moves to avoid blades and stuff. Second this with the stupid little girl, the first time she removes her dagger from the sheath, throws it 20 metres and hits a bullseye on the target. At least one training montage would be great, to show how the f*** they got so awesome at fighting.

It was a cool movie nonetheless, just a couple of letdowns

I think you need to stick to animated movies if you can't even follow a simple action flick.

Anyways last movie I saw was Revovler, by Guy Ritchie. Enjoyed it very much, though it's very puzzling, so I don't recommend you go see it Kat otherwise your head would explode.

stealth, red eye, the jacket, mindhunters.

all pretty good movies.

stealth is an alright action movie nothing to rave about. red eye was pretty good but too short, only 1 hr 13 mins but cillian murphy is awsome as a bad guy. the jacket is just like the butterfly affect but going forward in time instead of backwards. mindhunters was good. it for those that like crime/horror movies where a group of ppl are killed and 1 or 2 end up surving and killing the bad guy.

Saw Memoirs of a Geisha, pretty film but as a bit of a geisha buff it annoyed me endlessly. Chinese actors and constantly incorrect kimono, makeup, hair and dance make 'Maya aaaaangry.

The last full movie I saw was Duece Bigalow - European Gigalo which was pretty good actually, not as bad as I thought.

The last movie I saw was Doom, last night, and it managed 15 minutes of viewing before it was s*** canned.

Last movie i saw was red eye last night and it was alright. I Couldnt stand the male main character and also the unrealistic amount of pain he went through and was still active.

Stabbed in neck with a pen, leaving a hole in his wind pipe
Hit multiple times with a hockey stick
Shot once and was still moving, shot again and was still moving

Chronicles of Narnia, very true to the book (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), Tilda Swinton was very good as the White Witch although the actress playing Lucy stole most of the scenes. Aslan was very well done, best piece of CGI I've seen in a while.

Good to see on the big screen and by way of comparison, much better than the latest Harry Potter movie.

The last movie I saw was "Wolf Creek" ---> scared THE hell out of me!! I met up with a couple of friends at the last minute, they all wanted to see the movie and I had no idea what it was about...only that it was rated R and was *supposed* to be a little scary (which didn't really bother me)...turned out to be FARRRRRRRRRRR too realistic for me (which I wasn't expecting at all) and I was really creeped out at the end.

An interesting movie but all I can say is be prepared to see some pretty horrible stuff that looks incredibly realistic if u haven't seen it yet.

Last thing I saw at the cinema was King Kong; long, boring, and painful. Also, there was some poor kid that didn't know Kong died at the end and was bawling.

I can't even remeber the last movie I saw at the cinema... it's been that long ago 'cause we normally wait until they go to DVD. But if just last movie I saw it was this terrible B (or even C) Grade horror flick called Doppelganger with Drew Barrymore in it... damn it was so bad yet it's quite addictive, I had to put myself through to the end!.

I have no problems with going to the cinema. $10 is f***all to see a movie, I'm happy to pay it if I'm feeling too lazy to goto Southbank. I see a movie at the cinema probably once a fortnight at least, usually more when heaps of stuff comes out at once. The only problem is that theres nothing to get at the video store anymore cos I've seen everything :(
I have however seen pretty much every single one of Wesley Snipes' orsm b grade action movies though. They rock

I agree with Demon. I'll never go back to the cinema mainly due to the amount of retards that go these days.

Anyway, just watched Underworld 2. Pretty cool movie although not as good as the original. I wonder if they do a 3rd one there'll be some guy that is the father of the father vampire that no one ever heard about?

8-)

Wait until you see Hostel. That has scenes far worse than Wolf Creek.

im going to make it "the last GOOD moofie i saw" because seriously just about all moofies that come out these days are totally rubbish and if i paid for them, i would be most upset

"The Machinest" i watched while on holidays up in cairns (free moofies in hotel) was totally awesome and completely blew me away (and fostered my love for christian bale)

excellent moofie, totally well acted (cb is unbelieveable with what he doest to his body), jennifer jason leigh is still hot (ive had the hots for her for years, ever since i worked out whatever moofie she is in, she gets her gear off in) and the script was excellent and entertaining

i finally got around to watching american psycho the other day, cb was good in that, but the moofie itself i feel didnt measure up to machinest

Afaik the events in the movie are what he wishes he could do to these people, so much so that it becomes real in his mind. He's disgusted with the society he's a part of.

In American Psycho the one big hint for me that it is all in his head is at the start when he yells "YOU'RE A f***ING UGLY BITCH, I want to stab you to death and play around with your blood" at the bartender and she doesn't notice

Just watched Walk The Line. Damn cool movie about Johnny Cash starring Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon and Robert Patrick. Only let down was you didn't get to hear Ring Of Fire until the last 5 minutes and even then it wasn't even the full song.
