i got a MK77M II mobo, duron 1ghz with a prim and sec hhd.

took out the sec hhd (20gb) and put in the new 160gb one and it doesnt come up in 'my computer'. played round with the master/slave/cable select and cant seem to get it to come up. in a few positions it shows the hhd on the boot up screen but none show it in my computer

any help is appreciated

ok, maybe a silly question but did you format it?

Running windows xp?? if so goto control panel --> administrative tools --> computer management ---> disk management --> find the drive and format/make active whatever
