hey guys and girls.
well it's that time, i need a new phone mine doesn't ring anymore (probably because i've dropped into beer so many times) my dad is on a business plan, so i'll just be jumping on that with him, so the actual plan isn't an issue. it's the actual phone i should be getting. can anyone recommend me a decent sort of phone and/or let me know of phones they've had any real problems with. the phone needs to ring :) but other than that it's not a huge fuss. it won't be a video one because i'm not going on telstra's 3g network or whatever it's called. give me your suggestions! |

I'm very happy with my 6230i.
Had a lot of pain with my old samsung phone, but I'm sure they've improved. Wouldn't touch a motorola (got interface). my other choice would be a k750i |

NEC L1, not sure if it's available in Aus, I saw it in HK, it's about 1cm thick (thinner than RAZR) 1.5MP camera, I dunno the style is shiny silver which I think might put some people off, personally I think it looks pretty alright, but only saw it quickly as they were out of stock.

If you care about your image, have a look at these:
Nokia - The L'Amour Collection (7360, 7370, 7380) Motorola - RAZR V3 Samsung - D500, D600 |

haha, the RAZR is a pile o s***e.
My sound quality is fine on my K750i, specially speaker phone. Are the holding it in the right spot next to their head? (im not joking, you need to place it right.) |

I still love my V3 but I'd put in a vote for the 750i as well, I had the 700i and it was a great phone did me well the updated version seems well worth it.

Sure the K750i stands out with features but imagine explaining to all your mates and their girlfriends at the dinner table why you've just bought one... And you'll find yourself doing that, because it just looks like any other phone. On that basis, it's uncool. Hehe. |

Flip phones were semi-cool when they first came out but the novelty of them has warn off now (at least for me) and they've become kinda annoying. I prefer the normal non-flip phones.

I prefer flip phones actually. Less random speed dial happening (yes I know you can keypad lock a phone but meh)

the V3 was the first flip phone I got, for years they just looked too flimsy and dorky, now they're starting to get decent hinges and I got sick of my screens getting scratched to hell in my handbag (girls clothes = no pockets = screaming)

Samsung E530.
Lovely lavendar colouring, plus it has a Fragrance Advice expert system and a Menstrual cycle calendar. Everything you need really. |
